8 Weeks Old Today

My baby girl is 8 weeks old today. Best memories from today include spending quiet time with Makena. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. She went 6.5 hours between feedings last night. She is smiling a lot and starting to laugh a little. She is starting to notice Riggins a little more and seems to like her baby Riggins (stuffed black dog) and her pink hippo which she spends time with while she is getting her diaper changed. We ran to Wal-Mart today to pick up a couple of things and exchange some diapers for a different size. Since them we have had some lunch and taken some pictures. The photo shoot must have worn Miss Makena out, she is know down for her afternoon nap. Here is a look at my baby girl at 8 weeks.

First, second, and third pics are from today. Riggins wanted to lick her feet and as you can see she isn't afraid of him. Fourth picture was a couple of days ago and displays her smile. I have a really good one but my camera died before I got them all loaded. I'll add them later. Last picture was at 2 weeks of age. This is when we figured out she might not like to be swaddled. :)

Yesterday we went shopping for Jake and Jenny. We are getting ready for the wedding next week. It will be Makena's first trip out of state. We can't wait! Wishing everyone a great Wednesday.
