We had a wonderful 4th of July with a few friends over for a BBQ. I can't say we saw any fireworks this year except a few on the TV. It was a hot outside and most had gone home before it was dark outside. Makena looked cute in her "Miss Independence" outfit purchased by Grammy. Thanks Grammy!! As you can tell Makena went from completely annoyed to wiped out in a matter of minutes. I have to say she was a complete angel all night until it was her dinner time. I also included pictures of Makena's friends Colten and Caden Conley and Jackson Ewing.
The days after the 4th were spent getting ready for our trip out of town. We took Riggins to Uncle Tyler in Weatherford, so he could enjoy a week or two at the farm. Thanks so much for taking care of him. We know he loves it out there.
